Welli have a glock 23 but I want a 9mm. I was thinking of an hk p2000sk but that's about a 1g. Any ideas and never fire a double action pistol

If you put out 1g for a firearm, don't forget the accessories.

Different platforms call for different holsters, magazines, and operation learning.

Why change brands?? Look at a g19 or g34 depending on use. Nothing new to learn from a different brand from trigger pull to grip angle.

If you are interested in a DA/SA pistol in 9mm then take a look at the FNH USA FNX-9.

It's chambered in 9mm, 17+1, comes with 4 backstraps, 3 mags and a hard case.

I picked this one up a few months ago. I paid $589.

I'm having a real hard time understanding anything you "say". You want a 9mm, under 1000, and have never fired a DAO trigger action... random, but okay, let's see...

Bersa Thunder Pro carry DA/SA about 450
    Kahr CM9 about 425
    S&W shield
    Taurus pt709 slim
    Stoeger Cougar

Why not just buy a 9mm conversion barrel for you G23? I've got a KKM barrel and G17 magazine for my G22 and shoot 9mm and .40 cal from the same gun. Takes about 30 seconds to change barrels and you are good to go.

Is that a decocker or a manual safety?? A safety would be a deal breaker for me.

It's a decocker/safety. All the way up is safe, middle position is fire and all the way down decocks the hammer.

    I still love my BT9UCP.

I would suggest you try a CZ75b for fit.
