Took my new Walther P1 to the range today and it shoots as good as it looks. Put 100 rds of Federal 115gr FMJ through it, without a single glitch. Functioned flawlessly. The single action trigger is really good, for a military firearm. There is a very slight bit of creep, but it is smooth and the release is crisp. Low recoil and muzzle flip. Very comfortable to shoot. Accuracy is more than good enough for the gun's intended purpose. These targets were shot standing, offhand at 7 yards. Each is 10 rounds.

The P1s are damn nice guns. The price on them is real good. You can bet when they are sold out the price will go way up. I have one made in 1985 with the steel take down lever. They have the little Hex mark stamped on them.:) I bought this one at an auction last year for $165.00. New condition.:D

The upper one is a WWII CYQ Spandu Nazi P38. The lower gun is a Carl Walther Police issue PI 9MM.:)
