walther .22 identify?

    Hi i am about to purchase this walther .22lr,but i cant even find a pic of it on the web,it has a full stock which looks unusual for a walther.Any info regarding the above would be much appreciated.

    It looks like a kkj, they did make some with a full stock. I think they were made in the 60's, but not sure. I know they are rare in the u.s.

    Thanks,im in south africa,Has it much value?to me the fore end stock seems to be a different coulour,so thought it could have been added on,still it has been done very well if that is the case.

    truthfully i have never seen one with the full stock for sale. I have seen the short stock version go for quite a bit of money. I don't know if the longer stock would add to the value or not. A lot of the value depends on the condition. I have shoot 2, and i can tell you that if you get it you aren't going wrong. they are good rifles. hope that helps

    I agree - the Mannlicher bit looks like it was attached, a nice job too! Beautiful old rifle. I have seen a few KKW's and Sport Models but not this particular type.
