Anyone have experience with it? At a store near me its 500 rounds for $100, which is less than. Half of junk ammo at a gun store around here. But is it any good or garbage? Is it even brass cased? (note that i doubt it is)

Is that the yellow box with black lettering or the green & white boxes?

I have used the yellow in my XD45 with no trouble and have used the green & white in my 9mm and in my .38 with no problems. It was all brass-cased stuff, though. The yellow i had came in a 250 pack, while the green & white boxes were 50 or 100 round packages.

IT is 250 rounds, not 500 in those boxes FYI. I've used it before. Shoots fine.

I'd rather stay with the infallable 45 ACP 230 gr FMJ I have been using for years. I get a box of 50 rds for $16.99, 250 rounds for $85, 500 for $169.99, and 1000 rds for $338.

If it's only 250 rounds for $100, not a good deal. We get the Remington UMC FMJ here for less than $19 & 100 round UMC JHPs for about $39.

It's not really that cheaply priced. It is good range ammo though. Brass cased, 230gr ball. It is rather dirty ammo though, compared to some others. In fact, it shoots dirtier than my normal re-loads using Unique powder.

Cheapest stuff round here though, at least its brass though. Reloads are hard to come by, the only guy left near me wont do .45's he wants me to buy his shelf ammo which is 1/3 higher than everyone else...

Just finishing up 250 in 9mm. It's ok, but I spent more for 1,000 rounds of better ammo. Agree w/previous comment, it shoots a little on the dirty side.

My Glock chews up all ammo. Hope this ammo shoots efficiently thru your 45.

BTW - Just shot 50 rounds of Blazer 38 +P thru my revolver. That's some sh!tty ammo right there.

That's $10/50...which would be an excellent price for 9mm. I'd buy 45acp at that price several times over if actually true. But it's probably per 250rds, which isn't such a hot price.

I'd only love UMC ammo at a reduced price. Federal Champion is usually cheaper and has never let me down. And I really like WWB.

The Federal that Walmart carries is generally cheaper than the Remington & I've had good luck with it. But if you reload, the .45s have the small primers & I hear many reloaders don't like that. Since I save my .45 brass for the range officer, I don't use the Federal, but I do shoot the 9mm.
