Yesterday afternoon at Wal-Mart, I was pleased to see guns again at a sporting goods box store

They had everything imaginable. Even had four flavors of ARs, including two Colt models.

Ammo was still out to lunch, but seeing the guns back again, is a step in the right direction.

Every slot had a longgun in it, which most likely means the backroom has some guns as well. Great to have that back to normal again.

Scheels also has every display full again, and ammo building up again. Scheels removed their restriction on ammo sales, purchase as much as you want.

Walmart doesn't get a dime of mine as I support small American business not Walmart that was building it's own factories in china while claiming to save jobs here. Pure BS & I bet ole Sam would roll over in his grave.

Walmart is the only store I know of in WI that sells okra, so I'll keep shopping there.

Guns & ammo is not a focus of the Walmart closest to me, they can't compete with Fleet Farm on those items.

My local Wal-Marts are still out of the most common ammo 9mm, .40, .45, .223, .308 but they having hunting ammo readily available.

Check Gunbroker for deals on .223 and .308. I believe on Friday there were auctions for 1000 rounds of Federal .223 for $0.52 per round after shipping and I just picked up PMC .308 for $0.74 per round after shipping from a Link I found in the AK section talking about 7.62x39. Let me know if you can't find it and want it.

Many people probably slowed down on buying guns once the spent size able amounts or maxed out their credit cards, and then figured out that they can't find ammo to feed them.

I have several rifles. I can always find ammo at regular price for one of them. 270 ammo has actually went down since the ammo shortage. 30/06 ammo is spotty and I seldom see a bullet weight that is good for this area. I still have plenty of 203 gr SP, 7.62 x 54r ammo. I also have plenty of rimfire ammo, both 22 LR and 22 WMR

I can't speak to Walmart as it sucks so I don't go in their but the Bass Pro Shop near me has a bunch of rifles, shotguns, and ammo for them; however they have no rimfire or handgun ammo.
