About to board the plane that will take me from my home state Tennessee to my birth state Arizona. Will be in the greater Phoenix area and then drive north and over to Albuquerque and then drive home. So here comes the question lgs I need to visit?

Carbela's - West side, Bass Pro - East side - Scottsdale Gun Club - North Side. Let the google be your friend.

If you havent already left AZ, skip those big box stores and drive over to the best LGS in the state: AJI in Apache Junction.

Hands down the best-stocked gun shop around, with everything you need, great selection, and good prices.

I shop at Prescott Valley Guns often. Good bunch of guys and fair prices.

Still in town I hit the Scottsdale gun club and the place beside it. I want to stay out of the box stores mainly because they are not unique. I will try to hit some of the aforementioned places. Thanks

What is J&G like in Prescott? I have been going to the LGS there for years. I have never gone to J&G. :)

Back home in Tennessee I left Phoenix Monday at 5 am so by the time I hit Prescott it was to early. I had to get to Albuquerque by lunch to meet up with my uncle so I couldn't wait around. Made it back here Tuesday at 3 pm. And besides the lying highway patrol in New Mexico it all went without a major incident.

I chose to go to bucky O'Neil guns... great service, sometimes a little more than others in cost, great selection too.

When visiting the Great State of Arizona just enjoy the beautiful open spaces. The wonderful people who live there. Appreciate the original American freedoms embraced by their government. :)
