Vintage ammo.

    Can anyone guess the approximate age of this ammo?

    I would say they were made in the 1960`s.................

    Around 1962. I saw a full box in new condition sell for $6.50.:)

    in the 60's(or even later). they used those same boxes for a long time. I see it does have the safety warning on the box

    Made by Federal was the manufacturer of retail giant Montgomery Ward's and Sears’s house brands as well as Western Auto's Revelation line.
    The only uniformity in packaging is the Consumers Products Safety Commission's "Warning: Keep out of the reach of children" caveat which appears on every box of ammunition produced since 1962.

    I found this ammo in the drawer of an old rolltop desk, while helping carry it out a house. It was my mother's uncle's desk that she inherited when he passed.
