    One word: OUCH!!!!

Here's a video on my Springfield Armory 1911-A1, Mil Spec, great to have a replica of the World War II warhorse, but I can definitely do without the hammer bite.

That second round of 8 shots wasn't too shabby. Nice production on the video.

pretty good video! the SA Mil-Spec is a good starter 1911 or even one for someone wanting one that looks very similar to a WWII style 1911.

Bro, your confusing the newbies, that's not a mil spec model.

    Thats a GI model.

though I'll give you an [A] for effort.

shoot safe, shoot straight, and have fun.

    No not really

Not if it's a Springfield, the Mill-spec comes with better sights, throated barrel, lowered and flared ejection port, and set up to run HP bullets.

The GI is a true WWII replica with out all the amenities, which is the model that he's reviewing on the video.

I've learned since making the video, as a result of making it, that what I have is a GI-MIL SPEC, a model before the "Mil Spec" which comes with those better features.

It is nearly an exact replica of the 1911-A1, the WWII version of the 1911, to speak in understandable terms.
