Here is a youtube vid of a guy during an open carry event in Florida. This one was in Tampa on the 4th. There were 4-5 across Florida at the same time. Open carry is only legal in Florida while going to or from, or in the act of, hunting and fishing.

    Open carry law's ?

I was under the Impression when they say Open Carry Law's that it only refferd to Handgun's only,? You mean to tell me if the state law's specify Open Carry You can lug around an assualt rifle or your Deer Hunting rifle slung over your shoulder as well.? Nice if that's the Law.?

Ok, I get the part about hunting but fishing? Why is it legal when fishing but not legal when walking your dog.

maybe for deep-sea fishing? it's annoying when you land (er, pull into your boat) a great white shark and he starts thrashing around, trying to bite everyone...

My Ar is has the pistol grip, but it has the adjustable stock. What do you have to do to get it to actually qualify as a pistol? Is it related to both stock and barrel, or just the stock?

Generally in open carry states, if you can own it, you can carry it.

Unfortunately the law is not so simple.......check with your local authorities before you open carry, even if you do live in an open carry state.
