Any idea what the going rate is on these? Papered, transferrable (AOW) .410, 10 inch bbl, minimal finish left, but metal and wood look pretty good. $$$ ???

NEF can put any barrel they want in front of the firing pin, and if the pivot pin assembly and hammer and trigger are working good, and if they can do that with a Handi Gun, that has to be taken to account. Most Handi Rifles i have seen used get any where from $70 to over $300 it was a 38-55 Target model with fancy shooting sights,(forgot the name brand) this was at Cabelas store in used gun dept. Hope this helps

Sorry- no pics- local dealer has the gun. This is NOT the NEF Handi-rifle, but the original Handi-gun, which is a short barreled shotgun PISTOL- but since it was MADE as a pistol, instead of being classed as a "short barreled shotgun" it is classed as a Class III "Any Other Weapon" or AOW- which only requires a $5 transfer tax. Collector's item.

HK- thank you- and a BIG grin on my face. Yes, dealer is a class III, and this one was registered back in the amnesty period. Seems darn few of them got registered. Pity. Looks like they would have been a great snake gun.

John- the "snake charmer" is a current production shotgun. This is similar, but is a single shot PISTOL (no shoulder stock at all) MADE as a pistol- and it is a Class III firearm- barrel is only about 10" long. Requires registration as a Class III "Any Other Weapon" with the ATF.
