A friend wants to sell me a Browning Buckmark 22. Over 15 yrs. old but only fired four or five times. What do you think is a fair offer to make him?

Also has a Colt Commander in 38 special, I'm not sure of the age or use but I am imagine it is in good shape. Again, any idea of fair value?

    Thanks for any help.

There were several Buckmark's (standard, micro standard, challenge, camper, hunter, plus, bullseye target, bullseye, 5.5 target, 5.5 field, lite splash, contour, varmint, silhouette and commemorative) The bullseye target seem to be the top of the line and at 100% the blue book of gun values 2008 edition list it at $440 at 100% and $290 at 90%, the standard list for at $290 at 100% and $165 at 90%, the camper seems to be the low end $240 at 100 % and $120 at 90%. If you find out the model I can look it up.

The only Colt Commander I could find comes in either 9mm, 38 super or 45 apc.
It list at $1,400 in 100% and $900 at 90%. The 9mm would be -$200 of the above prices.

As you know gun prices varry depending on location and popularity of the firearm so at best these prices are a base line. You might want to look at gunbroker.com and see what they have listed for these firearms.

    I hope this helps
