The following was posted by a friend of mine elsewhere, this scares the
hell out of me.

Have some reloading supplies coming, just ran the tracking number...I got an email last Saturday that this stuff had shipped, it should be here by now, and its just now leaving TN, which leads me to believe somebody has been sitting on it. It should have shipped out on Monday, although I really dont know of sure if Brown was working on Monday or if they where closed. If they where closed, then it should have hit the system yesterday,...anyhow

I copied and pasted the following from the body of the tracking number info from UPS's website, Ive never seen this before. Since when does big bro impede commerce with "security checks" ? on domestic shipping...?

Chattanooga, TN, United States 01/02/2013 11:21 P.M.

Pkg delay-add'l security check by Gov’t or other agency- beyond UPS control. / Package will be delivered next business day.

01/02/2013 11:21 P.M. Origin Scan

United States 12/31/2012 7:47 A.M.

Order Processed: Ready for UPS
Natchez was the supplier and they are shippin into IL,
he has ordered from Natchez in the past. With no issues.

He has a valid FOID. Even though FOID's are not required
by state law to purchase components.

i just got a shipment over the hellidays from powder valley with primers and powder. only delay was the hellidays themselves. your buddy's shipment prolly got tagged by a hazmat inspection. it happens and is normal part of shipping hazmat goods. just like truckers get stopped now and then by DOT inspection stations for safety violations hazmat shippers have the same sort of hoops to jump through.

no need for tin foil hattery
