How many is too much? Or is there a max number?
The cheapest I have ever seen it was more than double that. I would order some if I did not already have 80 rounds of reloadable brass.
You can never have too many! Congrats on the 12fth, do I hear a thirteenth?
The maximum of ANY firearm is 2 more than it takes to equip your own Godless Horde (basic oranizational unit of the Russian Army)
Can't help ya, bud- I once wound up with 4 Remington 550-1s in one week. And still tying to rmember when I got the fifth Mossberg 152. You do know, as you get older, these things begin to sorta creep up on you.....
Theres never enough! If I had the funds id buy a whole crate of em an leeave it in the garage for 10 years. There not gonna be cheap forever.
The right number is 6.34, or buy as many as
you can, stopping only when your wife sews
all the crotches on your pants shut...
I thought the right number was between 7.62 and 54.
Agreed, between 7.62 and 54 Right
I am just under 40 Mosins and I surely don't have enough. I know a fellow that has over 300 of them, and he is still on the lookout for more.
Been thinking about picking one (my first) up for a bit now. Thought about getting one at the show I went to yesterday, but he only had three to choose from, and I think he was a little high. Should be many more at the show I am going to next week, so I am planning to come home with one then. Looks to me like I am WAY behind the power curve.
Strange... Im totally content with just one Mosin.....
How many Arisakas do you have though?
How can you have just one? There is something seriously wrong with you dude......
Yesterday I shot mine for the first time....Sweet! If I stumble along a Sniper for a good price I will be buying my second Mosin Nagant!
I have enough until I see another one. The most I have had at one time was five and presently have just two, but there is a gun show next week.
Agreed, one, possibly two is enough.... I guess instead of buying my Garand, Lee Enfield No.4 and my Kar98k, could've bought a dozon Mosin's
Dont get me wrong, I love the MN, I just cant see dropping $1200 for a bunch of them when I could get a variety for the same dough.
We did a group buy a couple of years ago for a case of 91/30's, drew a number from a hat for the number of guns purchased, and selected a weapon in turn by the numbers drawn. We got twenty for just under $1400 plus shipping. I got a 1930 Tula hex with all matching numbers and two round receivers with mixed numbers.
The guy that I bought my m44 and my 91\30s from also gave me the crate from one of the group purchases he took part in. Currently, my wife has it in the living room as our coffee table. Makes a great conversation starter. I want to get a second one to use it as an under cap tool box for my truck.
Just one, a type 99 with the mum ground off.
But it's a pretty sweet shooter! Was more accurate than my Swiss K31 I got about the same time.
.... and the pics are.. ??
