I have known men and women named Jordan. I always thought of it as a man’s name.
I have known men named Marion and Carroll, lots of Leslies. One named LaVerne. Not to mention ethnic names. One old dude named DeLos Quist. Worked at the local bank. One day Jack Bates walked in with his son, DeLos said "Here come Mr Bates and Master Bates".
Remember the TV Show Night Court? Judge Harry Stone was played by Harry Laverne Anderson- yep, that was his birth name. Rest in peace, your honor.
I always thought it unusual to give a girl a surname as a first name. Harper, Jefferson, Franklin. I even met one cute young attorney named Rasmussin ******.
Taylor works that way too.
My cousin is a man named Leslie.
The best that I've ever seen or heard of though, was the daughter of Governor Hogg of Texas. (first elected in 1890)

When I worked for the local school district there was a girl named Candie Barr, wonder how she faired for jokes all the years she was in school?
I worked with a man who went to school with a girl named Helen Bedd. She went by her middle name.
Then the joke about the complaints manager. Helen Waite.

My late cousin, Earl, was something in local government here in UK in his working career. As a result of his efforts to improve the way things were in his particular field of interest, which was, basically, people, he was awarded the Order of the British empire, or O.B.E for short.
We always knew him thereafter as cousin Earlobe.
I knew a family, his name was August , wife's name was June , and they named their 5 kids after months also.

I know a guy that named his son Ono.

Another one, guy gets his first felony, he must of been so proud, named his daughter “Felony”
One restaurant in town(which is actually closing today) has a plaque for a guy named Dick Bern
