Unique Model L Pistol/Carbine

    Has anybody had/seen one of these? Its a Unique Model L pistol/carbine combo made in the 60's and 70's.. I have a chance to get one, should I? Whats one worth? Is this even legal anymore?

    Never seen one but I remember them from back in the day. Because you replace the pistol barrel with rifle barrel and stock it is legal. You couldn't put the stock on it legally if if just had the pistol barrel. Have no idea what it is worth but I would start real low.

    This was sold by Unique as the "Combo" -- imported and sold in the US by Firearms International Corp of Washington, DC. There should be an "FI" logo on the bottom of the forestock.

    These seem to be pretty collectable. Last one I saw sold, about a year ago, went for about $700, as I recall. Check to see if the stock and pistol match -- Unique also sold the pistols separately, and I've seen the stocks for sale by themselves.
