Are you saying that if you are in a union your un American. ? Because I joined the union to work. Do I agree with there politics hell no.

That club has been around for a couple years they even have a tv show on one of the outdoor Chanel's .
But I do have to laugh at, here are bunch of unions that are very liberal. And the are showing someone hunting.

Not at all. Millions of American people are forced (or coerced) to join these neo Marxist organizations to get/hold a job.

It would be interesting to see how long these outfits lasted if we had a strong federal "right to work" law.

Who knows? They might be forced start representing their membership instead of the democrat party.

No one forces a person to join a union . You either join or don't.

Ever hear of "union shop," "closed shop," agency shop?" No you aren't forced to join. Unless you want to lose your job.

Only in right to work states does the employee have the option of not joining the union.
I am in right to work state. Employees are not forced to join our union.
But they are shunned if they don't. ;)

A person can still work in a union shop as long as they pay "administration fees".

They are not considered union members, but retain the representation of the union.

The down side to saving a couple of bucks is that these people have no say in the CBA or elections.

Never been a fan of unions, most seem to believe they are above the law and exempt from the one person, one vote concept. They have virtually decimated the manufacturing sector in NY and are the single largest cause of outsourcing and Public Entity Bankruptcy. Grouping votes is a pretty powerful tool to get support from others in charge but Im still not buying into it. The Republicrats do love voting blocks, they dont want to earn a single vote if they can buy 100,000 at a crack!

I am not a fan of unions either, but it pays the bills and I have health insurance for my family.
Where if I was at a non union shop I would have pay for it out of my pocket.

My biggest beef is that most of them (not all) are run by left wing goon squads and their dues paying members have no voice. Leaders are usually chosen by a handful of radical "delegates" at a convention and the members get no chance to vote.

At local meetings, where "delegates" are chosen, a handful of strong-arm goons chase off any member that opposes she local leadership.

    Kinda like the democrats operate.
