I was just reminded of a great movie that shows why Concealed Carry is a threat to some.

Most of the town felt a strict no firearm policy was OK as long as they kept their heads down and cow towed to Gene Hackman. He was able to keep lawlessness down! Well maybe now the way we would want - - - remember England, only one type of protection was taken away at a time until there was no one to stop the rest and now what has happened to their crime? The criminals love the laws their. And don't forget Australia they spent millions of dollars getting the guns off the streets and crime just kept going up as the crooks didn’t turn their guns in!

Please spend 5 minutes and 24 seconds and listen to some one much better at explaining the problem than I am.

gwk, The Quick and the Dead is what I think you are referring to

I saw her testimony a couple of years ago, quite stirring indeed and with all that emotion, the anti's still don't care. If that can't change a few minds then I can't imagine what will

I think it was Gene Hackman in "the Quick and the Dead" but the movie with the strict gun laws and total disarmament was "Unforgiven" with Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman. I only know this because I just watched it a few days ago.

The Quick and the Dead was another great movie ( Sharon Stone!) but you should find a copy of Unforgiven - - - in this context it hits the nail on the head!
