yes those handguards do move when hit hard enough even though it may seem tight right now ,you need a free float hand guard to do what your trying to do the right way
Like this configuration , your going to have $100 + or - in the good quality FF hand guard but you should be able to run your pop up rear sight right thru your red dot and do away with the 45 deg sights . #1 they are a PITA and seem to get hung up on stuff , #2 It doesnt feel right to me when I put that angle out there with irons , red dot no biggy on the angle but I dont like the irons like that .
