Anyone know about Remington model 700 "uncataloged rifles"? I recently picked up a .270 with a European stock and detachable magazine. As far as I can find Remington only produced 700's with that stock in 93-94 and did not produce any detachable mags until 95 or 96. Please shed some light on this if you can. Thanks.

I'd be willing to bet someone swapped stocks or it was bought during a transition and made it out with oddball set ups.

i last year put a 700 rem 270 togather i bought a stock off ebay for a long action i got removeable mags for i got a action from gubrokers barrel from ebay put it all togather and got the best of the 700 rem offers
