While searching for how to easier put the hammer strut into my MKII without the book of warnings on the barrel.
It gives the warning required by the socialists that are so dumb they probably think everyone else is, plus it show how to install the strut easier than I've been doing it on the MKIII which is the same.
Didn't know the MKIII had a Hillary hole lock in thee safety...so I'm glad I got the MKII and will not pursue buying a MKIII or maybe even a MKIV.
for some reason when I try to access the link it tries to go in error to frieanfirearms without them .Maybe it will work for you. I may have to delete and start over. This is the second time this type o problem has occurred in two days.

What is a Hilary hole? I saw the term used another time.

some guns have a lock assembly that you have to use a key on, as it locks the hammer or trigger from being used.

most people tend to call them that on S&W because IIRC, they were the first gun manufacturer to use them. as their voluntary concessions to appease the gun bans in the early 1990's. my time frame might be off though.

I'll have to look if my mk3 22/45 has it.

it does. it's that little hole right under the safety switch. it can only be accessed with the key when the safety is engaged. in the fire position the safety switch covers the keyhole.

It's a key hole to lock the gun up so it cannot work. In this case it shows it in the safety hole. I had no idea any of the Rugers had that
