Ok, I was shooting my old mossburg 500 in 20 gauge when suddenly the forend broke in half!!! I'm sure I could by a new one but the problem is that it's Real Tree and I might not be able to find the exact color of it. One more thing, is that a common thing that happens or is it strange.

This is when Mossbergs warranty comes in handy. Give them a call, they'll take care of you.

Wow -- knew one on me. Sounds like someone overtightened the forearm tube.

    I don't think I've ever seen/heard of that. Pics?

That is a new one never seen it happen before. I have two Mossy 500's. One of them has been beaten on and abused behind my truck seat for many years. Like a Timex watch still keeps on ticking.
