This may not be everyones cup-o-tea, BUT...
I was bored at work today with my Full Size P250 sitting next to me at my work bench, I thought I wonder if I should two tone it or not?!?
Tough question for sure, It may not be for everyone, But I did it!

    Before

You ask yourself, How on Earth did he do that! Simple I polished all the metal parts and satin finished the slide, Man was that a pain, The Nitron finish is tough to get off, Which is good for staying on, But not for my purposes.
Maybe when I get bored with this I will gold plate it :D
So far I'm quite pleased, Family thinks it looks good.
    What say you?

I think it looks much better then before. If I had seen one that looked like that I might have bought it.

The finish kind of looks like the Kimber Eclipse style pistols

    Nice work!

    Thanks guy's

I was going for the Sig Equinox

I just finished shortening the front of the grip part so its not flush with the end of the slide any longer.

    Thanks again

On yeah, I forgot about the Equinox. That's pretty damn close and the shortened dust cover looks better also.
SIG should have consulted you for the design of the 250! It looks so much better. Its too bad you can't do the grip screws.
    Is the mag release metal?

I posted them together to get a head-to head. Seriously, nice work.

That looks great. Now if you could get it with wood stocks. But that's just me.

I cant take all the credit, I saw another guy on the P250 owners forum had removed the Nitron from the rear part of the slide, There are also a few other guy's o there who have done all sorts of things to the grip module.
The mag release is metal, I forgot about it and then I ran out of time at work, I may go back and polish it as well.
    Thanks again

Thanks, What other part? Did I miss something?

Thanks as well, I like wood :D

    And thank you sir

Maybe it was just the photo.....looked to me like you did part of the slide, but not all of it. Sorry if I'm mistaken, but I like what you've done.

I shaped it a little more, I still need to finish smoothing it out, I will do that at work along with polishing the magazine release.

Still works with the laser/light combo.

I angled it back so it would slide in and out of a holster a little better, Oddly enough it fits my FOBUS sub-compact holster, But the last notch on the accessory rail catches when you pull it out at certain angles.

    Again, very impressive work. Really.

I honestly believe that if SIG made a duo-tone model like the one you make, the P250 would sell better. Its just a very attractive finish.

Very nice. Not too much, just enough. A little time and patience can go a long way.

    Thanks!.
I'm a jeweler, I have access to all sorts of buffs and wheels to remove the finish, Like I mentioned in an earlier post, The Nitron finish is a real pain to remove.
