First one is a 24/47 in great shape and with matching numbers to include the stock. Second one is an M 48 (milled not stamped) also in great condition with all matching numbers including the stock. Can anyone give me an approximate value for these two fine old rifles for insurance purposes? TIA

Prices are in a state of flux, but I would guess about $350.00 each.

Yugoslavian Mausers can still be found for under $500. Your best bet would be to see what they are going for on an auction site like Gunbroker, that way you can compare condition and such.

I put 50 rounds through my 1937 Sauer K98k yesterday, that 8mm. sure does a number on your shoulder.

On Gunbroker see what they actually sell for, rather than what sellers ask for them.
There is also Classic Arms and a couple of other liquidators. When they get large surplus batches they often undersell Gunbroker.
