It was bound to happen eventually, but my second Lyman turbo tumbler died. IIRC it was given to me many years ago. It has polished 10's of thousands of cases for me over the last 10 or so years. It started making excessive noise so I figured it was death rattle. Sure enough, yesterday it went to meet the electric motor "Maker". I just ordered a Frankfort Arsenal tumbler from Midway USA. They are on sale for under $40! If it lasts 5 years, it will be well worth the investment. I prefer to have two polishers so one can be set up with older media for cleaning and the 2nd set up with fresh media for final polishing, but we will see where finances go over the next few weeks.
