I bought a .270 win from a older gentleman that has a lot of memory lose so he couldn't give me any info on the rifle. I know he got it in the 1950's and that's all I got from him. It's got belium action and has a stamp on it with a circle with JFL in the circle. I can't find anything on this gun so if anyone knows this stamp it would be of great help.

thank you, I read about the FN's but it looked like a JFL to me. know I see it. I haven't had the pleasure of shooting it yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Like 7.62 Man said, it is an FN.
The action looks very similar to the Mauser design.

You have an FN Commercial Mauser built on a large ring 98 action. Does it look like a chrome lined barrel?

They are some of the best Mausers ever made. I have a couple, but not one in .270.

not sure if the barrel is chrome lined or not. It is very clean and has a good shine to it so maybe. not sure

Can you post a good pic of the muzzle? And another of the chamber end?

Does not look chrome lined. Most of the FN Commercial Mausers left the factory with chrome lined tubes.
