How about we try a firearms game. I'll start by posting a picture of a well known gun, and you answer with who made the gun famous. Probably movie/television guns will be easiest, but no reason not to expand to any genre to keep it interesting.

First one to get it can post the next question, or announce that its open for anyone to post another question if they don't want to.

I'll start with an easy one:

    Correct, John Wayne.

Since no one else put a new question up, I'll keep it going with another easy one:

Based on a C96 Mauser, but look at the trigger. Is that a trigger
    from a Sigma??

Ok Bighead you started this so now its my turn. I will name 4 actual famous firarms and you tell me who their owners were, and these are REAL guns not Gollywood garbage. Here goes "OLD BETSY" "OLE BULLTHROWER" "SUGARLIPS" and finally "LACRICIA BORSIA" . Ok gentlmen start your guesses.

Probably the only reason that I got that one is that I watched Rooster Cogburn last night.

Yeah, I got this one - but as hokey as it is, this pistol was from a TV series and fetched a good payday when it was auctioned off...

You got "OLD BETSY" correct it was the actual name of Davy Crockets rifle he named it after his first girlfriend not his wife. Anybody got any other guesses on the other 3 real famous rifles? Ill give you a few hints. "OLD BULLTHROWER" was a Hawkins, " SUGARLIPS" a Kentucky longrifle and "LACRICIA BORSIA" was a Springfield model 1868 50-70 government. Enough clues?
