I have taken my newly acquired 1955 H&$ 923, nine shot to the range. Single action was so heavy as to be difficult to pull smoothly . And the double action, though easier to group, was still heavier than I like. Has anyone made a video that will guide me through a trigger job that will not destroy irreplaceable parts?

Still shooting my father's 922 he bought in the 1930's. Pretty much the same as yours. Every 20 years or so, we knocked out the pins & cleaned it. They have very robust springs, for sure. Mine is now quite slick but it only took about 80 years of shooting many thousands of shots. Too bad they're no longer made.

My 622 had a worn out and bent mainspring guide that caused the trigger pull to be horrible. After replaced trigger was much nicer. I wish I would have bought 2 cause I don’t think they are available anymore.
