I'll be traveling to Indianapolis in October and would like some recommendations on some good gun shops in the Indianapolis/Richmond area. I'm always curious what is out there when I go someplace and I haven't been able to find much online. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I know of one place in Indy, but I have not been their. The web address is http://www.donsguns.com. I know you can rent guns there too.

Oct 19-21 is the Indy 1500 gun show at the fair grounds.

One of, if not the best shows in the state.

Don's Guns is the WORST gun store ever!!! They are in a bad area, are dirty, have ridiclulous prices (300% mark-up), and an extremely rude and unknowledgable staff. Their primary business is selling cheap guns (Lorcin, HiPoint, etc.) at high prices to people who don't know any better and/or probably shouldn't have a gun anyway.
    I would suggest:
Indy Trading Post - 2851 Madison Ave. 317-782-5951
    Bradis - 6939 S Kentucky Ave. 317-856-8880
Plainfield Shooting Supply - 3735 Shady Ln, Ste C 317-839-6095
    Wanamaker Guns - 7915 Southeastern Ave. 317-862-4867

Couldn't agree more. I have found Bradis to be the cheapest and their staff is very nice.
