We just got back visiting my in-laws this weekend and I have to share (brag/gloat) a bit. Yesterday my wife was "borrowed" by her sister (my sister-in-law) and 4 hours later, came back with lots of "stuff" for my wife and our daughter.

One item, my wife didn't like too much (she didn't know at the time it was for her) and opted to exchange it so I went with her after church. To my surprise, the bag and wallet was more than $900.00  and she bought one that is less than $400 getting a store credit for about $530 also. One pair of sandals they purchased also is more than $250!

Of course my gift of dozen roses and dinner seemed pale in comparison but I am not complaining since I am supposed to buy here a new bag anyways and I just saved that money. I am sure the funds will be diverted to a new firearm purchase (with her blessing of course). :D

$900 on a purse I would have been beating some ones ***. That is out of this world. Why on earth would someone spend $900 on a purse? Then $400 on another purse what the hell kind of crack are you smoking. $250 on effing FLIP FLOPS OMG you are not a very smart man. I would have had a heart attack then not spoken to her for a month.

I love my wife. She freaked when I said I would spend $150 on a stethoscope for her.

I am with you but those are gifts...she cannot return them...only store credit so why not? Just to clarify...I did not buy or pay for any of those.

I know, some people spend way too much money but it is theirs to spend. FYI, my wife also "inherited" several more expensive purse than these from her sister.
