Took out my new P07 to the range today for the first time- shot great with a mixture of hollowpoints and fmj. Double and single actions were both pretty good- not as crisp as the Super Blackhawk, but a double/single pistol isn’t expected to be. The recoil was pretty low- even by 9mm standards which is already a very low recoil round. It shot accurately and grouped well. I have no qualms about this gun at all, the decocker is a little new to me, but I’ll get used to it. 1A9AB1F8-C6A6-43DC-AFA5-8F428391E742.jpeg

Nice! I like my P-07 too. Thinking I might get one in 9mm some day too.

What cartridge do you have it in? I thought it only came in 9- a 10mm, 40 sw or 357 sig would be pretty cool- granted, mine is for the rare occasion I feel the need to concealed carry, so anything more powerful than a 9 would be irresponsible

Originally they made it in .40 S&W also, but they dropped the .40. I am guessing due to some fading .40 popularity, but it is a great pistol.

The new mag I ordered came in today- 17 rounds with the pinky extension. The gun already almost fit my whole fingers on it- but this new extension really makes my hand feel comfortable. Also, there’s a kit from CZ that lets you convert the P07 from 9mm to 22lr- and I’m thinking about picking it up. But anyway, here’s the gun with the new mag 9326A567-E613-4616-A138-80907A22685E.jpeg

17 rounds is nice. You must have fairly large hands, I have no problem getting all fingers on the grip of mine with no extension at all. There is no extra grip space but my hand fits pretty well. With the .40 I have 12 round mags.

My hands are fairly big- but is more of a quirky ergonomic thing for me. I need a lot of room or my hands feel really scrunched, even if they aren’t really that bad- like I said- it’s more of a weird quirk than a size thing

What works for you is what’s important! If you decide to try the .22 conversion kit, please share a report, I would be interested to hear.

I’d tried to buy one online yesterday and they were all sold out

If you ever want to howl with laughter, then, next time you see a Kahr P380, see how it fits. For you, it'd likely be a two-fingered gun. Puny in the extreme. With me, the pinkie extension mag plate just allows a third finger to comfortably rest there, with the pinkie dangling like a "tea finger" in the air. Perfectly ergonomic, for all of that, once you get past the idea that all fingers are "supposed to" fit on the frame. On this one, no they're not. By design.

I’d feel too weirded out by that- I held an LCP once and was completely astonished that anyone would ever use it- especially when the EC9S is big enough to scrunch all your fingers on if you have the pinkey extension.

Just looked up they Kahr P380, that would be way too uncomfortable- I don’t know that I’d be able to get a good enough grip that it wouldn’t just jump out of my hands.

It actually is an amazingly-ergonomic little unit. Dang small, to be sure. Of course, if you've got baseball mitts for hands ...
