    Honor Guard

NGIB: Sir, they are amazing young men, even then, I doubt I'd ever make the grade.
Our prayers, should include these fine young men, and their willingness to dignify this honor.

I remember when I first saw the tomb. As a military cadet, our punishments sometimes involve walking back and forth on our guard path carrying a 10 pound rifle. After an hour or two it's hell. Doing it for 2 years for however long straight they do it, would break me. Not to mention the monotony and isolation.

Great post Dave! I happen to have had the privilege of marching in the parade that accompanied the Unknown Solider from Vietnam to his final resting place.
