    Hi:

I'm new to the forum, so forgive me for posting this in a couple of places:
Just purchased 2 Romanian TTC Tokarevs
Just fired them yesterday (Romanian ammo).
    Both had same problem!!
After a couple of rounds, the trigger was "stuck"..would not move.
Slide was back, hammer cocked, safety off.
I had to recycle the gun a couple of times before the trigger would reset.

    Any ideas?
(Note: held gun firmly, no "limp wrist").

    Many thanks,

    Meldoc.

When you say "Slide was back", do you mean that slide was to the rear and chamber open, or the slide was back to chamber closed position. Please remind me if there is an exposed slide release (maybe the thumb was on slide release).

Also, there is an intro section you may want to put some input on.

Many thanks for the quick replies...I'm new to this...

Re: Slide: The slide was forward, "in battery" when the problem with the trigger occurred.
..also I'm surprised it happened with both guns....

The 1st thing I'd suggest is to give them a good stripping & cleaning. It's possible the triggers are gummed up with cosmoline. While you have them apart you can modify the trigger return springs to be stiffer.
