I have a BP .50 cal i use bore butter on the rifling after every shooting and cleaning to help maintain the quality of my bore. Is bore butter safe for my cartridge fire rifles. I know im a noob. Feel free to critisize.

No reason to criticize, but no reason to use Bore Butter unless you just like the smell. Intended to counter the corrosive nature of black powder. Won't hurt anything, clean before shooting, your mileage may vary, sic transit gloria mundi.

I use Bore Butter in a T/C .50 Renegade RIFLE, works fine. As said, you CAN coat the bore of a modern centerfire rifle with it, just clean it before shooting it.

this.

if your going to store a rifle or pistol for an extended period its an excellent sealer.

if you dont clean it out of a centerfire t can easily cause a kaboom of epic proportions. something along these lines
