Has anyone heard of this maker in a double barrel shotgun. Age is about 1870-1885?

Joseph Vorisek's Book, "Shotgun Markings: 1865-1940, A List", shows Tipping and Lawden as English gunmakers 1875 to at least 1885.

Robert Gardner's "Small Arms Makers" lists Tipping and Lawden-Birmingham, England 1850-1877; singles and double guns, rifles and six barreled revolving pistols.

Standard Catalog of firearms lists Tipping and Lawden as manufacturers of the Thomas Revolver 1870-1877

    Thomas patent no 779

I recently received a revolver from my grandfather. All it says on the side is Thomas patent no 779 no 4. With some research, I have traced it back to Tipping and Lawden. I would like to know more about this revolver. If anyone can help me out with this I would appreciate it.
