I have a chance to get a Taurus 9mm for $200. Is this a good deal? I only own a 22 rifle and shot a 12 gauge shot gun. Would this be a good handgun?

What is the mdl?
Not to sure the guy just said its a Taurus 9mm is there a good one or bad ones to stay away from? I know nothing about Taurus
I have a 24/7 gen 2 and I love it ....but I would do it if it was in good condition
I would probably buy it if for nothing else but to resell it for a profit.
Taurus makes fine guns. Made some fine and some not. Depends on model and year produced. Can you shoot it before deciding?

I wouldn't be able to shoot it. But I could always resell it.

I looked at a pt809 tauras 9mm.
It looked nice had all the features I wanted. Exept one that I didnt want.
A feature so if u have a failure, you just pull the trigger again on the same round.
I dont like the sound of that.

I have the 840, it gives you the ability for second strike, you dont always have to do so. You can tap and rack it just like any other gun if that is your preference

I love that, second strike capability is a HUGE positive to me! Gigantic!

Im going to test that feature out tomorrow if the situation arises
I've owned a 24/7 compact in 9mm for 2 years and recently just bought a 24/7 G2 standard in 9mm last month. Both are in stainless and they are just as excellent as the Ruger's I also own. I love the 2nd strike feature on them which worked great for me whenever I had the misfired rounds.
Anyone know if the 24/7 mags fit in the 800 series?

Different mag release catch, don't believe they can be altered to match.

Alright, exactly what i thought. Thanks
I have a 24/7 gen 1 pro 9mm. I love it. I have ran 50-100 rounds through it every other weekend for the past 3 years so I got 4000-5000 rounds through it and the only problem I had was with some bad reloads not firing.
