Well gentleman, I just ordered my .22-250 Thompson Center Venture Predator. I can't be more excited to get it in my hands and fire some rounds. Thanks for the help on helping me decide. At $550 it seems at be a good investment. Any disagreement? I would love to hear the cons and possible flaws. And any input from owners of the gun are greatly appreciated. Next to buy, a good varmit scope and a bipod. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Riley

I don't know much about scopes, but I just want the best for predator hunting in southern Oklahoma. Im not wanting to spend to much, maybe up to about $250 or cheaper.

    Thanks,

Look into the nikons or redfield. Those are my two favorites in that price. I used a redfield 3-9x40 on my 308 while deer hunting up near alva this past year

Bushnell banner 4-12x40AO or nikon 4-12x40 both at wally world. Banner bout $80 the nikon bout $250ish both decent scopes. Shop around and find a weaver, burris, redfield, or a big name scope for cheap. Walmart also sells a 4-16x40 ao center point thats decent for like $80. 3-9 power will work but it will be a bit low powered for them long shots. I personally prefer something in the 4-12 or 6-24 power ranges.
