Has anyone ever shot or know anything about Thompson 1911's? Any pictures or anything?
Chiming in because I'm curious too
I recall seeing one thread on here recently about them, they generally go by the Auto ordnance name rather than Thompson. The owner of that particular one had good luck with his.
The one I had was a solid, reliable performer.
Well, i had one that was in the fair to good shooter range-
Took it to my longtime friend & LGS owner to trade (i do that) & for the 1st time in like 20yrs he said---"No thanks" - Just had to many problems over the years with them, didn't really talk more about it-
For the right price i'd have another tho
They are way better guns now that Kahr arms took them over. Solid guns for the money.
