Thomas Henry Deehan, of Mason, Mi, Age 66, passed away July 18, 2009. Born July 14, 1943, in St. Johns, MI, Tom lived his entire life in the mid-Michigan area. He will be missed greatly by his family and many friends.

Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He served as a Cryptographer from 1961-65, receiving several medals during the Cuban missile crisis and in the early days of the Vietnam War. An expert marksman, he was a shooting coach at Quantico, VA, in his last year of service, though he considered himself an "office jock". He was one of many servicemen participating in President Kennedy's funeral in Arlington National Cemetery in 1963.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 23, at 4 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

He was a great man and will be greatly missed.

Sorry, yall. I edited the post. Mason is the town he was from. My fault for not using punctuation. Plus, I added his pic.

He was my Stepfather for a great while. He was a hell of a guy.
