So I want y'all's opinion on this. My friend as seen below in picture format wrote on face book. I respond to his post he attacked me and is now judging my character.

This gun debate over recent school shooting has my own friends turning against me.

Now I'm not a teacher but I do work in law enforcement.

    What do y'all think.

    Shaker,

Your friend is a major part of the problem his mentality is wait for someone else (authorities) to come take care of the problem... they did but it was to late for 20 children. Lockdowns are nice and quick but the school in CT was in lock down at the time when the POS shot his way in through a window next to the door.

Well, I think you have a few good points there.
And since most teachers, that I know, fall into the Liberal segment that you mentioned; all you have done is ruffled the feathers of another Obama Zombie.
    Not to worry about it.

I know a few teachers and find they can be a bit different in their social behavior when compared with others that are not in that profession. I don't know if it's because they are use to dealing with students and have become accustom to never having their opinion questioned or challenged by the ones they are around on a daily basis.

However it does seem that when someone disagrees with their position on any given subject, they automatically think that person is wrong and needs correcting.

Tell me where "entitlement" which is a codeword we all understand, ties into a shooter who was white and lived in a half million dollar house? I somehow doubt his family were socialist, liberals who also happened to enjoy shooting, or out of work bums, on food stamps, who just happened to have a nice place to crash.........

What may help to enable such monsters is all of the vile and hatred in our society. Listen to some of the screamers on the radio and you might understand what I am talking about.

It's pretty sad though... I wasn't trying to shove my thought down his neck only wanted an opinion.

Any-who u guess old Ben said it best

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

I think the conversation would have been better received if you had stopped at the part about the veterans.

You and my wife think the same. Actually my wife said it best. You keep your opinions to your self and let idiots be idiots.

I know I should have stopped but didn't. Oh well

Why did your "friend" tell you to stay away from schools? Does he consider you a threat?

I know teachers who are competent shooters and would love to be able to carry at work.

However, those who fall into the LIBTARD catagory...like your friend...will view the suggestion as an added responsibility that any self loathing hoplophobe would shun.

Don't you understand...he's a VICTIM, just like the teachers in CT...and he needs protection.

His is not a mind you will change. Fortunately you don't need to. The fight we need to win is to call out anyone who supports GFZ's and bans on CCW in schools.

We have 30 years of GFZ shooting galleries compared to thousands of gun friendly location that NEVER experience violence of any sort.

You should change your tack on Facebook. Point out every GFZ shooting in the last 3 decades then challenge others to counter you by pointing to armed robberies or mass shooting occurring in gun stores, gun shows, shooting ranges, Ect...

Does not take a brilliant mind to figure out that if guns were the problem, we gun owners would be an endangered species.

    Tack
