Looking for a .22 pistol.either a 1911
or should I just go with this Glocky Cloney Thingy
I personally have benn looking into the Chiappa Arms 22 1911 clone. I've heard some really good things
I have heard of problems with these. A few of them have hit the local for sale forums suddenly...

I've had the ATI on order since last june. Don't think they are being made.
Try the Ohio company above. I'm keeping my order active because of the price. Looks like it's gone up $70.
Hi-Point owns Chiappa?
You silly man, 1911's were made to be .45, if JMB wanted it to be a .22 he would have made it like that.
My suggestion is a Ruger MarkIII for a .22 pistol. I love mine.
edit: I'm not very good at breaking it down and reassembling it yet, but I love the pistol.
Bud's pricing for it. Under handguns, Hi-Point. Just smiling.
I like that Olive Drab Hi-Point.
A very neat .22 is one of the Sig P series. You buy the .22 version and it comes with a coupon that lets you buy the centerfire top end (and mag) for $399. You have a year to redeem the coupon so you can space out the purchase. I got my P220R SAO for $389 at Bud's last year...
That's pretty cool, I figured if I ever get a Sig Sauer I'd go with something like that. Sort of like th AR-15 of pistols, just replace the top-end and mag.
