I am doing some thinking about selling my Rem 700 SPS Varmint .223. My reasoning... I have an AR-15 that does what I need in .223 at the ranges I shoot, so I really don't "need" a .223 bolt gun. My thoughts... What I don't have is a larger caliber rifle for all around larger game hunting. I am thinking about a good 30-06 bolt gun of some kind. The reason for the 30-06... my brother gave me dies, brass, bullets and primers for 30-06... so with that said, I am all set to reload. I load for .223, 45 ACP, .and 38/.357 already... so I am pretty experienced reloader. I do have some old military guns and shotguns, but would like something with some decent accuracy to make a good clean kill. Any thoughts?
