I just got through watching on Youtube the History Channel's series: Modern Marvels The Magnum. It was a very good and interesting documentary, and I thought I would share it with y'all.

Interesting- however, like many TV programs, a number of inaccuracies. The term Magnum is the name of a larger than normal bottle of wine, and was borrowed by Elmer Keith for the .357 Magnum back in 1935.

Yeah, I found there were quite a few inaccuracies too. Still I think it was a fairly good documentary. I was rather suprised they failed to mention Elmer Keith in it. From my reading and limited knowledge on him he was the driving force behind Smith and Wesson and Remington to develop the .44 magnum cartridge and model 29.
