In Cal. they have places you can go to on a weekend & build ghost guns ... start to finish . Just the insurance on people using power tools in a group would be high .

I have thought about getting groups of guys together for a weekend & trade guns & do repairs for others in the group . Like to trappers did years ago .

PJ you having any luck finding the rod & spring for your gun ?
Most times finding the parts take way longer than the repair . Then when you finally find them you think this was so bad ....... I should buy 2 . :p

    Fog & rain .
No plan A today . Just wing it seems to work better lately . A long service call yesterday was a pain . So today will work on what ever doesn't take a lot of time .
April auctions have been moved to May now . So it looks like I will have some space for another month !
There has to be some fun hidden around here so will do my best to find some . :p

A little bit of sanding ..... some painting ..... some sorting & lots of cookies & Pepsi .
    Good start :p
Finding things to do without string up or making dust really narrows things to do down . So taking breaks comes along real often . :)

Was nice out today but that is bringing in storms tonight & tomorrow with wind & hail & all that neat stuff . The parts are coming along ..... first coat on so now when it gets hard will wet sand then another coat . Probably need to do that about 5 times to get a good look .
The stock needs some heavy sanding on the end where there is a hole where it went in the jig . Can't do that with tacky paint around . So just light sanding for now . At least it's all going in the right direction .

Thanks tow but there is a long ways to go yet for that to be a tractor again . :p It has been sitting in primer for the past few years so guess it's time to mess with it . A lot of parts to that little bugger !
