The Big List of Who Hates Guns
Posted By Mike Piccione On 2:25 PM 03/01/2012 @ 2:25 PM In Featured,Gun Laws & Legislation,Guns and Gear

I was cruising the web reading gun articles and then I started wondering about writing an article on anti-gun organizations and people. Since anti-gunners are always saying “no one wants to take your guns away” or they want me to live under their take of “sensible gun laws” (neither of which I believe to be prudent, sensible or anything remotely truthful) I figured I would go to the NRA’s Institute of Legislative Action to find out who are the people that want to be sure that I can’t defend my home or go shooting my .22 in the woods (both heinous acts of human behavior to be sure).
So, hats off the the NRA-ILA team for compiling this list. Here is what the NRA-ILA team had to say.

The following organizations have lent monetary, grassroots or some other type of direct support to anti-gun organizations. In many instances, these organizations lent their name in support of specific campaigns to pass anti-gun legislation such as the March 1995 HCI “Campaign to Protect Sane Gun Laws.” Many of these organizations were listed as “Campaign Partners,” for having pledged to fight any efforts to repeal the Brady Act and the Clinton “assault weapons” ban. All have officially endorsed anti-gun positions.

Editor’s Note: Steve Norton contacted me to be removed from this list. Steve was with Argosy Casino and left many years ago. He is a supporter of the Constitution and the right to keep and bear arms. He has been removed.
My thanks to the National Rifle Association’s Institute of Legislative Action for keeping an eye on our Second Amendment for all of us. And to all those that want to curtail the right to keep and bear arms…we are watching you.

NOTE: Big thanks to Sniper03 for the link!

Everyone should read this list and fight fire with fire .
Liberals always talk boycott of good buy busiensses.
Well we can do the same!

I already stopped eating ben and Jerrys ice cream for their stance.

I did not know about Hallmark and will stop using their products as well.

Not sure how reliable this list is. But Rob Lowe is a gun owner and I think is on our side.

    And some are DEAD!

I'll be boycotting Ben & Jerry's and Halmark as well. Who is Hallmarks rival? I want to send Hallmark a competitors card with my intent to boycott them.

American Greetings would be the big one. There are a ton of people that make cards though.

I see Stallone on the list. He has a movie out called Bullet in the head.
..and people wonder why I have no sadness for the RIAA, MPAA and SGA, when it comes to file sharing. These people make a but-load of money off gun movies, music, and other forms of entertainment then whine when someone downloads stuff. Meanwhile they are playing the uber hypocrite making money on things they say they can't support. Makes me want o reopen my p2p server....

    Sean Connery and Bon Jovi?!

    Why?! Why?!
Also, the pope endorsed it. Apparently the pope hasn't met the southern Catholics XD

It is sad that most of these actors are involved in "gun" movies and the singers sing about guns but there against it.

There are names and groups still missing from this list such as Sam Adams brewing and Jack Daniels which both give to anti-gun groups

Thanks Opaww, now I can't enjoy one of my favorite beers and whiskey.

Cane, you need to add Chrysler and Labatt's. Both companies are as anti-gun as you can get. Theb part that sucks is one makes a very good truck, and the other makes an excellent beer. Both are anti-gun and anti hunting.

Yeah I was really surprised seeing Sylvester Stallone on this list, 95% of his movies are full of guns and explosions and all that awesome stuff.

i recall reading this list from an earlier post and when i saw sly stallone on there i was like, man.....wtf, him especially because he cant even act hence his huge list of gun violent movies, and he cant even paint either...everything about this sequel king screams loser??

among others...matt damon??? bourne hypocritt is more like it I guess

atleast doug flutie has a legitimate reason, most shotties and rifles are taller then him!

rob reiner...haha....well, we all know he is just a dumb meathead.

somewhat shocking how many are on the list who willingly act in gun violent movies with guns, yet aren't educated enough to know they're donating to organizations that demonize and promote legislation against law abiding gun owners and hobbyists...

i guess i should know better than to expect anything else from a bunch of hollywood slugs...

i will do my best to keep my dollars from going they're direction as well as educating others as to their two faced stance on the subject matter.

I was shocked to see how many companies in the midwest were on the list. I am going to have to up the talking points with the wife on moving south.

Some of the actors (like Billy Crystal) did not surprise me at all, but several did. Those actors think they will have jobs after a ban is enacted and they are restricted from using guns in film. Some like Sly would never of had a career if they had not used guns in their films.

We should freak these people out and post an interactive map with names and adresses of gun control supporters...you know ... To give the the credit they deserve for their brave stance against the evil gun lobby!

...and I'm sure no crazy gun nut would missuse that list...well, pretty sure anyway? ;)

Wow there are a lot of mentally ill people out there....

"A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity."
--Sigmund Freud, General Introduction to Psychoanalysis (1952)

Hoplophobia (n.): The irrational fear of weapons, correctly described by
Freud as "a sign of emotional and sexual immaturity". Hoplophobia, like
homophobia, is a displacement symptom; hoplophobes fear their own
"forbidden" feelings and urges to commit violence. This would be
harmless, except that they project these feelings onto others. The
sequelae of this neurosis include irrational and dangerous behaviors
such as passing "gun-control" laws and trashing the Constitution.
    -- Eric S. Raymond
