How did I miss this channel on Direct TV? They show Deadwood. They have concerts. For instance, Jethro Tull is at 2100 edt tonight. A replay of Iron freakin Maiden is on at 2300. Oh, and they show OZ uncut...

Channel 101 on Direct TV. Ian Anderson has not lost a bit of talent. Just watching and listening in pure awe. :D

Aren't you guys BOTH too young to know Jethro Tull?

Doh! I was gonna get direct TV installed last week, but decided to wait for extra funds......now I'm gonna miss that Maiden concert:mad:

I'm 32 and I love Jethro Tull. Didn't know there was an age requirement to like great music:p

Just didn't know Tull transcended the generations, but I'm glad for that!

    Tull is ageless.

I am older than both Gate and Shihan. I'm not sure how old you think I am, Lon.

Gate, too bad you are gonna miss Iron Maiden. There's Bruce. 3 guitars on stage as well. Adrian Smith, Dave Murray and Jannick Gers. Of course, the bass is manned by the none other. Nicko on drums. Purely amazing.

Jethro Tull was just awesome. Talent is talent and good is good. Just wow, in my book. :D

I have seen them twice in concert. Great shows. The Flute is a Heavy Metal Instrument.:D

"People -- what have you done --
locked Him in His golden cage.
Made Him bend to your religion --
    Him resurrected from the grave.
He is the god of nothing --
if that's all that you can see.
You are the god of everything --
    He's inside you and me."

This Song has an outstanding Flute Solo.

I was hoping they would play Kissing Willie.

"Willie stands and willie falls/Willie hangs his head behind grey factory walls.
But now she's kissing willie/My best friend Willie. :D

I saw this same line up when Adrian Smith and Bruce Dickinson returned. Loudest concert I have ever been to. It was an out door arena at Blossom Music Center. :D

I am watching Tull again. I can't get enough. Not even Steely Dan can hold my attention like this. ;)

101 also had the first episode of the Pacific with what I expect was a two or three week delay. I truly like that series, just saw #4. The concerts are great depending on your taste. Lots of junk but some real gems and the Tull concert was one of the gems. Deadwood, that is great. With luck they will pick up Dexter and later Spartacus.

Part of one of my favorites now. It was a Tull concert from 2003 and a diamond in my book.
