I have to laugh when they say the state will be removed from the federal grant programs. Where did the Feds get the grant money? from the taxpayers. No grants, no state tax money to DC.

I do believe there will be more states enacting similar laws in the very near future.........

Palm Beach County Florida has had a school police department with officers assigned to each school since 1972

Yes...thats included. The most significant part has to be prohibiting the enforcement of any new federal anti gun laws...thats big, wish Ohio would do that -----GO TEXAS.....

    First off, God Bless Texas.

Second, has these bills passed through BOTH houses of the Texas congress and been signed into law by Perry yet? Or is this just a premature celebration?

Its premature celebration...but with the makeup of their state legislature..very likely to go all the way.....And Perry said he will sign it.

Ok, so has it even been voted on in at least one of the houses or are these bills still in committees rotting away? Cause if they are, its time for me to pull out some old letters I have lying around and start another go around with some politician folks
