Taurus tend to be hit or miss quality wise.

Looks like you got a good one.

It's not a bad looking autoloader.

yeah I have heard that. I haven't had any problems with mine. was gonna get my wife the tcp 380 but saw a ton of negative feedback about it. I'm looking to getting a revolver and kinda on a budget with it would a taurus judge be a good deal or something like smith and wesson

My PT 1911 gives me 0 problems. On the other hand my brother has the same handgun and has had to send his in for service. It's like anything else, you get what you pay for. Trust wise, I would carry mine anywhere anytime.

Ive heard about some issues with swelling around the frame and cylinder on some Taurus revolvers. However, I wanna stress that I have HEARD about it, never seen it in person. That fact in itself would prevent me from arming my girlfriend with one if she may have a oh **** moment. Ruger or Smith would be what I would look for.

I had one of those small .380 Taurus autoloaders and sold it because it was completely unreliable. I would have been better off throwing it at the target.

I do have two Taurus revolvers, one in .44 mag and a .38 snubbie ultra-lite. No issues with either one of them. Not as "tight" as some of my other revolvers, but never had any issues with them.

Like canebrake mentioned, the quality is hit and miss. My two cents worth would be to spend a little more and get something else. If you're looking at a revolver, you can pick up a used GP-100 for about the same price, and that gun will outlive you and your kids. ;)

I have a PT745 that eats what I feed it with no problems. I carry it everywhere. My thinking is, if I like it (I do), and I trust it (definately), then I don't really care what other people think.

that's good thinking that's what I been saying.I know some taurus firearms have problems but I have had zero with mine and I put it thru some pretty rigorous tests
