Does anyone have any experience with the two pistols mentioned above? I shot the Taurus 809 and really enjoyed it, but I'm wondering if it functions the same in 45 acp, and how the trigger pull compares on a P250:

Please shoot the Sig before you buy the Taurus

No experience with that Taurus but I do own a Sig 250. Its a long pull.. Smooth DAO. Similar to a revolver. Its been flawless through 1k+ plus rounds. It took a couple of range visits for me to get used to the trigger.

Do you happen to know roughly the pounds? My SW40VE has a long trigger pull but at like 12-15 pounds.

I would pin it at 9-10lbs.. Its the guns only safety per say... Other then the users common sense. :) its nothing close to the Sigmas! Honestly I would go to your LGS and pull the trigger a few times..

I think the 250's trigger is light, around 7-8 lbs but so smooth and easy. A little too long realy as I have a 250c 40sw. I also have a Sigma 9mm (SW9VE) and its pull is heavy but shorter stroked than the 250. I removed the Sigma's torsion spring which lightened the trigger a little.

You need to try the 250 before you decide. The trigger pull is rather long but you may like it. If I could I'd make the pull shorter.
