When I took off my front and rear sights (to install a scope) there are still the screw holes in the top of the barrel. I put the screws back in, but they stick up and look ridiculous! What can I fill the holes with if I take the screws back out? Should I weld it? Plz help!

No don't weld it. You can find screw in plugs for them. I'm sure someone here has a source.

Get set screws from fastenal.com. do not weld it! You will ruin your rifle.

Or Brownells has them. Most are 6-48 thread. Real cheap and easy is to get a black crayon and fill the holes.
