Please find a list of Senators we all need to call "NOW!" To let them know that the American Public are very upset about the attack on our Second Amendment Rights when Mental Illness, violence and social issues are the real cause. Not guns.
If we do not think that social issues and mental illness is the cause here some facts. I remember a time when we boys took our ammunition, shotguns and rifles to school in our trucks and cars. Parked on the school parking lot with guns in the open gun racks or in trunks and went to school. After school we went hunting with our buddies. No problems no hassles! We even talked about shooting, hunting and fishing with our teachers. We did not spend every evening and waking hour at home in front of a computer screen shooting and blowing up things. We were hunting, playing ball, competing in sports and other more health and more useful activities. "Fresh Air" Our teachers were common Americans not the majority of brain washed liberals who are teaching our children who were educated by the Hippies of the 60's. Or worse those with socialist and communist focus who should not be allowed to teach our children in America. By the way, there are good teachers with all due respects! But I do think they are far and few between!
No teachers or children were ever shot in schools at the time. No lock downs of all doors on the schools. As stated Guns were in the open truck racks and trunks and not taken into the schools. And the bottom line, if there would have ever been a situation like today's the students of the time possibly would have taken action on their part with their armament near by! In fact maybe they would have been a deterrent to the dirt bag knowing there were those around that were armed not defenseless fish in a barrel! Fact is it was a different world. We respected each other, our Moms and Dads, the authorities, and had God and discipline in our lives. If nothing else it established morals, respect and principles! We had corporal discipline in the schools dealt out by the Principal only! Moral of the story, it is NOT THE GUNS and the above proves something is seriously wrong with society coupled with mental illness. I was not ever aware we even had students with severe mental illness in the school. And they were not on mind altering drugs at the time either! As everyone of the shooters of late have been!
Here is a list of the Senators we all need to contact. Regardless of their State or position they need to know we are taking a stand. They are elected do not forget! They like their cushy jobs with wonderful benefits!
We also already need to be thinking about the coming elections of the future!
So please, call each of the senators below and tell them to vote NO on any gun ban...NO on any magazine ban...NO on criminalizing private firearm transfers...and NO on any gun registration scheme.
